Bearing load distribution directly affects the bearing stiffness, lubrication and fatigue life, which is one of the important contents of high-end bearing research.

Taking FV spherical roller bearing as the research object, on the basis of the previous research results and considering the bearing movement and load-displacement relationship, the quasi-dynamic model for solving the load distribution of the spherical roller bearing under the conditions of medium and low speed and high speed is developed and established.

Taking FV brand spherical roller bearing 22318C as an example, the effects of combined load and rotational angular velocity on the load distribution of the roller are studied.

The results show that only part of the rollers carry the bearing when the bearing bears the bi-directional joint load, and the rollers on the side of the axial force, namely the second row of rollers, are the main carrier. It can be considered that the axial load changes the load distribution of the rollers. The rotational angular velocity of the roller has little influence on the load distribution of the bearing roller.

Also with FV brand spherical roller bearing 22318C as the research object, based on the finite element method to solve the problems of the rolling bearing contact principle and method of finite element analysis model is established to study the load distribution characteristics of rolling bearing, and in the case of a single variable given the quantitative analysis of the axial load, radial load, the joint load, the curvature of roller and the influence of initial contact angle on bearing load distribution.

The results show that the maximum contact load increases linearly with the increase of radial or axial force of bearings. Under radial load, only part of the rolling body is in contact with the inner and outer rings of the bearing. Under axial load, all the rolling body is in contact with the inner and outer rings of the bearing. Under the combined load, the axial force increases the maximum contact stress.

By studying the different initial contact angles and the radius of curvature of the FV rolling bearing, the rationality of the selected initial contact angles and the radius of curvature of the rolling body was verified.
