Tapered roller bearings

Tapered roller bearings are separable bearings. Both the inner and outer rings of the bearing have tapered raceways. This type of bearing is divided into single row, double row, and four-row tapered roller bearings according to the number of rows installed.

Single row tapered roller bearings can bear radial load and single direction axial load. When the bearing bears a radial load, it will produce an axial component force, so another bearing that can bear the axial force in the opposite direction is needed to balance it.

Tapered roller bearings are mainly used to bear combined radial and axial loads, mainly radial loads. Compared with angular contact ball bearings, the bearing capacity is large and the limit speed is low. Tapered roller bearings can withstand axial load in one direction and can limit axial displacement of the shaft or housing in one direction.

FV tapered roller bearings are mainly divided into single-row tapered roller bearings, double-row tapered roller bearings, four-row tapered roller bearings, Matched tapered roller bearings, split cones, thrust cones.

Tapered roller bearings are widely used in industries such as automobiles, rolling mills, mining, metallurgy, and plastic machinery.

Single row tapered roller bearings

Designed to have a true rolling action and low frictional moments during operation, these bearings accommodate combined (simultaneously acting radial and axial) loads, have a long service life and enhanced operational reliability.

Double row tapered roller bearings

Depending on the design, these bearings can accommodate axial loads in both directions and heavy radial loads, and are typically used in gearboxes, hoisting equipment, rolling mills and machines in the mining industry.

Four-row tapered roller bearings

The four-cup design provides optimal load distribution over all four rows of rollers and accommodates combined (radial and axial) loads at low to moderate speeds – used almost exclusively in work roll applications,

Matched tapered roller bearings

With an assortment that includes face-to-face, back-to-back and in tandem arrangements, they can accommodate axial loads in both directions and have a high load carrying capacity and a high degree of stiffness.

Split tapered roller bearings

Bearings with tapered inner and outer ring raceways as well as tapered rollers. Designed to take on heavy combined loads.

Tapered roller thrust bearings

Bearings designed to accommodate heavy axial loads and peak loads and to provide optimal load distribution. Very stiff and require little axial space.
