1) Insufficient Rolling mill bearing oil mist lubrication
When the bearing rotates at high speed, a huge amount of heat is generated, and the bearing rollers are heated and expand, which reduces the bearing clearance, which squeezes the inner and outer rings of the bearing, resulting in increased wear of the tapered rollers, insufficient lubrication of the bearing, and unable to take away the heat generated during the high-speed rotation of the bearing in time, Which will eventually cause the bearing to lock up.
2) Improper assembly of work roll bearing housing
Pay attention to the gap of the rolling mill bearing every time you disassemble the bearing housing. When the gap is small, the tapered rollers squeeze the inner and outer rings of the bearing. When the bearing rotates at high speed, the tapered roller wears intensified, and the temperature of the bearing rises rapidly, causing the bearing to sinter. The bearing locks up. When the clearance is too large, the force range of the tapered roller bearing is reduced, resulting in partial fatigue damage of the bearing and reducing the service life of the bearing.
3) Influence of rolling process
In the rolling process, the bending and tilting of the work roll are used frequently. Sometimes when the incoming plate shape is poor, the operator tilts too much. For the bearing, the axial load it bears is too large, and the bearing is easily damaged. Cause the bearing to lock up. With the continuous improvement and improvement of the operation level and rolling process, the work roll bearing seizure caused by this reason has rarely occurred.
